Ethical and Legal Considerations in the Practice of Massage Therapy

The Florida Board of Massage Therapy requires that, prior to license renewal, all licensed massage therapists attend a two (2) hour class in Florida Statutes and Rules and a two (2) hour class in professional ethics. The National Certification Board also requires that re-licensing include an approved class in professional ethics. Join me for a fun and informative discussion of these topics and get these continuing education requirements completed at one time.

The intention of this class is to stimulate thought and discussion regarding personal and professional ethics and their legal ramifications. It is the facilitator’s hope that participants will gain an awareness of the gift they give themselves, their clients, and our profession when guiding principles of conduct are clearly established.

We will utilize a number of stimulating learning methodologies to explore topics pertinent to these issues. Please bring a pen or pencil and paper.

Read what former participants had to say about this class and its instructor at the end of this announcement.
